CraXittude
CraXittude
CraXittude started in the autumn of 2017 as a visual language for those with disregard for dress codes in order to create unconventional wear for unconventional shaped spirits.
Our core values are:
EMPOWER CREATIVITY
Following the “less is more” philosophy CraXittude’s clothing and accessories are monochromatic, minimalist and transforming, and allow the individual to shape the clothes in his own spirit. Each individual piece is meant to be a statement of bravery that distinguishes the unconventional spirit of the one who wears it.
CARE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Care for the environment and nature is one of CraXittude’s core values, working with natural fabrics sourced locally to reduce the carbon footprint of each produced item. Leftover fabric is used for making labels, face masks, or transformed into new pieces to reduce waste and create new unconventional items.
CREATE UNCONVENTIONAL WEAR
Asymmetric cuts, raw details, and geometric shapes are transposed into statement outfits for the ones who dare to express their individuality. Constantly experimenting with crafting techniques such as knitting, weaving, and other fabric manipulation methods, and incorporating them into CraXittude collections is how we blur boundaries between crafts and drive newness.
Georgiana Stegaru is the creator behind CraXittude. She studied engineering at the Polytechnic University in Bucharest and started CraXittude as a project to release the creativity within, in balance with the more rational spirit imposed by education in engineering.
Supervised by a black cat, creation is spontaneous, sprung from the spark and energy of the moment, giving each item an unconventional style.
She loves to learn and experiment with crafting techniques such as knitting, waving, and other fabric manipulation methods, incorporating them into CraXittude’s collections.
